Recognition & Incentive Terms
These Recognition & Incentive Terms explain how Innovations and More Ltd may recognise achievements and contributions during an InternPortal internship.
These Terms apply prospectively from 9 August 2026. They do not retrospectively change, replace or reinterpret any previous agreement, arrangement, communication or understanding with an applicant or intern.
1. Unpaid internship
The InternPortal internship is offered as an unpaid internship.
Participation in the internship does not by itself create an entitlement to salary, wages, commission or other payment.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any statutory right or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived.
2. Letter of Completion
Subject to the applicable Internship Agreement, an intern who successfully completes the internship may receive a Letter of Completion.
The Letter of Completion is separate from any additional recognition described in these Terms.
Receipt of a Letter of Completion does not guarantee employment or future paid work.
3. Recognition
Innovations and More Ltd may, at its discretion, recognise an intern's achievements or contribution during the internship.
Examples may include:
- a written commendation;
- an additional recognition certificate;
- acknowledgement of an achievement;
- recognition of an achievement that an intern may wish to include in their professional portfolio;
- a reference or recommendation where appropriate; or
- other non-financial recognition determined by Innovations and More Ltd.
Recognition is discretionary.
Not every intern will receive additional recognition.
The examples above do not create an entitlement to recognition.
4. No financial incentive or commission entitlement
These Terms do not establish a commission, bonus or financial incentive scheme.
An intern does not acquire an entitlement to payment, commission, bonus or other financial reward merely because they:
- complete a Project;
- complete a Task;
- meet a deadline;
- receive approval;
- contribute to marketing;
- generate a lead;
- introduce a potential customer;
- contribute to a website, software product or other digital product;
- generate revenue; or
- achieve another commercial result.
No financial reward is guaranteed under these Terms.
5. No guarantee of employment
Recognition under these Terms does not:
- guarantee employment;
- create an entitlement to employment;
- guarantee future paid work; or
- create an entitlement to a contract of employment or other paid engagement.
Any future employment or paid engagement would be subject to a separate arrangement.
6. No automatic entitlement
Recognition is not an automatic consequence of:
- completing a Project;
- completing a Task;
- meeting a deadline;
- receiving approval;
- completing the internship; or
- receiving a Letter of Completion.
An intern should not undertake an activity on the expectation that additional recognition or payment will follow.
7. Public recognition
If Innovations and More Ltd wishes to publicly recognise an intern's achievement, it will do so in accordance with its applicable privacy and data-protection arrangements.
These Terms do not by themselves provide blanket permission to publish an intern's photograph, personal information, testimonial or other personal data.
8. Changes to these Terms
Innovations and More Ltd may amend these Terms prospectively.
Any new version will identify its effective date and version number.
A later version will not retrospectively change a previous arrangement or agreement.
9. Relationship with the Internship Agreement
These Terms should be read together with the applicable InternPortal Internship Agreement.
These Terms do not replace the Internship Agreement.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to override applicable law or any statutory right or protection.
10. Legal status
Nothing on this page determines or guarantees the legal status of an intern.
The legal status of an arrangement depends on the actual circumstances and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any statutory right or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived.
